[Gallery] Masimanyane Leads Empowering Training on Violence Against Women for Social Workers

Masimanyane Women's Rights International hosted a dynamic and highly engaging training session on Violence Against Women (VAW). In attendance were 32 social workers, hailing from two of South Africa's renowned institutions, Fort Hare University and UNISA. These dedicated professionals, 31 women and one man, brought a rich diversity of experiences and perspectives to the conversation.

The aim of this training was to deepen the understanding of VAW among these professionals, enhancing their skills to address this critical issue in their respective communities. Masimanyane, with its long-standing commitment to women's rights and empowerment, was perfectly placed to facilitate this important discussion. At Masimanyane, we believe in the power of education and the role it plays in preventing and addressing VAW. We are proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of these dedicated social workers, and we are confident that they will continue to make a positive impact in their communities.

We look forward to hosting more of these training sessions in the future, furthering our mission to create a world where women are free from violence and discrimination.
