[gallery] Social Crime Prevention Awareness Event Highlights Collaboration Against Gender-Based Violence



The Nyibiba Police Station in Mdantsane, in collaboration with Community Safety, recently conducted a Social Crime Prevention Awareness event.


The key stakeholders involved were the Department of Education, the Department of Social Development, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), and the Department of Home Affairs.

Masimanyane Women's Rights International (WRI) was invited to speak at the event. We discussed Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the various services we provide, including paralegal services, the Victim Empowerment Program (VEP), shelter facilities, and the Thuthuzela Care Centre (TCC).
