According to the most recent crime data, 10,818 people reported rape cases - an increase of 1,300 incidents over the same period last year. The Eastern Cape is one of SA’s most dangerous provinces, with over 1,838 rapes reported in just three months. Masimanyane Women’s Rights International's Dr Lesley Ann Foster reacts to the stats.
